This routine can be used once you have a good understanding of all the Pole Strength lessons. It is designed to burn fat, increase muscle stamina and improve your cardiovascular fitness! Think of a muscle pump class but done with your pole :) Enjoy!

mandy03121982 - Veena, Can I start my warm up with this routine and THEN work on joints. Or the oppposite ?

Layla Duvay - Well, I was bored with my old routine, so I tried this--holy cow! THREE sets of pole push ups?! Whew! And I must work my way into being able to do the pole hold crunches without touching my feet down! I'm SORE today--well done!!! This is a very well-thought-out and thorough workout. You ROCK!!!

ORGANIC ANGEL - I love this. Veena, I love how you say things like, "Almost there." Your voice is calm and encouraging at the same time. I like that this can be aimed for any level and still be a great warm up! Good job.

ORGANIC ANGEL - as well as all the pointers about how to keep your body and the right and wrong way etc.

ORGANIC ANGEL - Where do I find this from the front page of lessons? I can't seem to find it unless I see it on the side as featured.

StudioVeena - Beginner section.....its the last Pole Strength lesson. This way you have mastered the technique for each exercise first in the individual strength lessons.

XxMyztikxX - Questions sorry lol. when beginners are able to do this strength routine and it is used as a warm up in a class, you saying that after the strength routine, its good to do conditioning. if i pick shoulder conditioning, should i do all the shoulder conditioning videos ? Then after the conditioning, we should go into learning pole moves then cool down stretching right? sorry, ( I am no where near ready to be an instructor but i am trying to learn how to teach as i teach myself) thank you!

1 people like thisXxMyztikxX - I was never sure on if i should do strength training as a warm up BEFORE poledancing or strength training AFTER poledancing... then stretching. Or does it not matter either way?
on Sep 28, 2011 -
StudioVeena - Yes, do all of the shoulder conditioning lessons at once..... because shoulders have such a variety of motion you need to work the shoulder in all positions. The each lesson focus on a different aspect of the shoulder :)
It would not hurt you to do the conditioning before strength, its just my suggested order. :) I would warm up first though.
You can do strength training as your warm up :) and always save the flexibility training for after your warm ups or workouts. The important thing is to never train for flexibility with cold muscles. Let me know if you have any other questions

Sunshine Diva - Hello Veena, I am so happy to get your lessons: all technical aspects are covered and well explained! I wish all pole teachers use a similar way of teaching like you! I love the website! Thank you for all the knowledge, time and energy you put in making poling more accessible and easy to learn!

portableninja - I've been doing the individual strength exercises, and I finally did this routine start to finish. Wow! I was doing great with keeping up until the pole holds, and then it all fell apart somewhere around the knee tucks, lol. Now I know where my weaknesses are, and I will work to improve them. Great routine!

2 people like thiseatvegancookies - Wow, this is awesome! I have a stationary pole and I was feeling my way with what's out there on YouTube. Luckily I came across an SV vid, and signed up for a year of SV the next day! So happy to be starting over with guidance and structure!!!

1 people like thisMissSKR - Hi Veena, Can you give me any alternatives to the pole hold position, knee raises and ballerina crunches. When at my boyfriends he doesn't have a pole there but would still like to do this routine and possibly add in some additional exercises to cover the ones i'm not able to do due to the lack of a pole. Thank you! x

StudioVeena - MissSKR, when you're away from the pole try working on the conditioning lessons. There are several that work the upper body and also the abdominals. If you buy a resistance band you can just replace the pole hold, knee raises and side crunch with them as you follow along. Here are the alternative lessons in order:
