Today you’ll target your core. Begin with the Sexy legs and abs routine. this is your warm up for today.

Then move on to Pole sit, Pole climb and Fancy crucifix practice. Work both sides and do at least 4 attempts but no more than 10.

Finish with these stretches Lying v straddle, Lying outer thigh stretch, Lying leg grab.

  1. Sexy legs aint easy but wore the pleasers lol ! Managed the first part of the climb . Brought legs and around and stood up . Fancy crucifix was attempted but not there yet . Tough session but good

  2. The pike over head is so difficult. I tried the sexy legs and abs routine and now I feel sick (nauseous). it could be unrelated to the exercise but I think I might stop for today. If I come back tomorrow and try again should I start over or do a different warm up and then try the pole sits, climb, and crucifix?

  3. Thanks for sending this. Are these exercises I should work on everyday until I get the pike? Or should I continue the beginner pole level 2 program and work on these exercises everyday that the pike done or the core is worked on?

  5. So I think the pole gods/goddesses/goddexes want me to take a break from pole. After trying to push past the nausea, I tried to put my pole on spin for the first time ever. It wouldn’t move because I guess it was too tight. So I loosened it and I loosened it so much it practically came off and now it’s crooked so I had to go to Home Depot to get a ladder (the times I installed, I borrowed a ladder from my brother or the maintenance staff in my building) and I walked home half a mile home with the ladder so that was my cardio and strength exercise for yesterday. I’m still too afraid to install a pole without a friend present so until I can get some to come over and spot me, I think I’ll either work on the core strengthening challenge or the no-pole challenge.

  6. Whew! My body is feeling stronger every day. I still cannot pike yet, but my pole sits, climbs and the fancy crucifix has DEF improved. I think my abs are for sure stronger, too. I still struggle with a few things in the warm up but it’s def not like when I started. 💜

  7. Petunia, there are a few things that can cause this feeling when using the abs. Dehydration, GERD (Gastric Reflux) getting too hot, working out too soon after eating, holding your breath. If it always happens when using the abs, you might want to see a doctor.

  8. Yes! Also the fancy version requires a really strong grip between the legs and some rotation from the spine and mobility from the shoulders to get around the pole.

Whew, admittedly I only made it through 15 min of the legs and abs…but also, I was so sweaty after that I kept sliding on the pole which made it difficult to do the tricks, I kept wiping my pole with alcohol and applying 2 types of grip aid, (dry hands and grip-it) but the problem persists! Any suggestions?

  10. Thanks – sexy legs is a total killer !!! . Question – fancy crucIfix – can’t do it – legs not gripping pole properly – csnt seem to get the sweet spot between those knees – any idea ? Time ? , Flexibility ? , something else ?

    I will definitely try that . I think I need to put one leg out straight to see how my grip is as I suspect I am gripping above the knee and that also explains why I can’t climb again
    BTW – Wowzer – that Microbend tutorial is gold dust
    I did it after this session and utterly loved it
    Bring doing it for a week now
    Then afterwards I tried my fan legs and there as a good 50 percent improvement !
    Lag leg still not perfectly straight but much better and a lot more height

  12. I finally feel like I’m able to keep my body far enough from the pole to enter the spinning sit!! ????‍???? now it’s just practicing being more graceful getting down lol

  13. ok whaaat! I am totally in love with the sexy abbs and legs routine! who knew a workout could be sexy and fun like that. My pleaser shoes were literal ankle weights lol so tough but so breezy too <3

  14. Back to training after 1 week off. I had to force myself bc I really wasnt motivated.

    OMG the sexy legs and abs routine was really hard for me…it took me about 40 mins to complete.

    I had fun with the fancy crucifix 😊

  15. I’m getting super frustrated with climbing, that is getting in a second climb. I can do one, but when I try to bring my legs up to do it again, I just can’t get there. Where can I send you a video so you can listen to the screeching sound my flesh makes when I slip down the pole? LOL.
