Today you’ll have a look at some flow drills to try. Start with the first flow drill, then work on this flow drill these will be your warm up.

Once you’ve completed all the drills listed, move on to the Knees spin and Flirty fireman practice. Give them at least 2 tries on both sides, but no more than 10 attempts. Don’t worry if you can’t yet do the spins. I know you’re doing great!

Finish with these stretches Lunge, Forearm flexor and Forearm extensor.

  1. Thanks Veena for adding these beginner 2 videos – it’s been a great way to keep progressing after the 30 day program! I just had a question about practicing these (and other) routines: should we be doing the steps in the same direction you do them – stepping left when you step left – or is it better to mirror it? It’s pretty difficult to do either way and I’m wondering which would be better to work on.

  2. Hi Veena. I was curious about what those foot band thingies you’re wearing are….I think I’ve seen other pole dancers wearing them in their videos and I’m just wondering what they are and what they’re used for? Thanks!

  3. That went ok – flow wasn’t great but spins were manageable . Going to get to the end of beginner level 2 and then return to start again at 30 day take off . Will keep going around that circuit until I am ready for beginner level 3 as I think I need a fair bit more upper body strength before I can do a split grip chair spin or a pole hold spin

  4. Thanks . I am happy to keep going over the beginners lessons until. I build enough strength to move on . I feel I will be ready to move on when I can do these foundation moves gracefully as gracefulness is a sure sign of strength

  5. Oh boy the flow drill 3 was pretty challenging for me without doing a practice run but I guess that was the point 😂🤪

I felt like I shouldn’t have used grip for the knee spin and flirty fireman. Or maybe I used too much. And it was also a challenge doing it with heels. It felt a little better without the heels.
