  1. No, I don’t allow for a hold of the leg. Needing to hold the leg means a person needs to work on hip rotation and strength. Holding the leg is fine once a person has shown (like doing a CKR without holding) that they do in fact have the mobility to achieve this trick safely. If someone who is new to CKR holds the foot/leg, they can injure themselves because they’re forcing their leg into a position that their body isn’t ready for yet. Does that make sense?
