    Hiii. I’m Nelly!

    I’ve been lurking around this site for about a few weeks now and finally got the courage to introduce myself. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

    I hope everyone’s doing great. This seems like a great forum, I’ve seen Veena’s videos (as of alot of people’s videos too) and oh my you all seem so talented.

    As of about me and poling:
    It happened about a little less than a month ago. I was in an inappropriate site (lol) and i randomly came across Felix’s Championship performance of Ms. World Pole Dance.
    I’ve never seen anything like that, I never knew pole dancing even existed. I thought it was just a support tool to help strippers dance. But watching that video made me speechless. And then by the end of it, I was like "COOL! i wanna do that" lol.
    what a way to get inspired, and since then I’ve been watching videos. I even have The Art of Pole Vol 1-2. Love the way Jamilla breaks it down to me. Since I’ve just barely got started.

    Now everything seems to be going great and all. I know a few spins (mostly forward ones), And currently (struggling, but learning) how to do "hello boys."
    My best friend helps me as my spotter, and she’s learning quite a few moves herself too. (she’s very supportive of this) and I’m so very lucky.

    As of the kind of pole I own. I deserve to hide in the bucket of shame. Yes, I admit embarrassingly enough I own a Peek-a-boo pole. I haven’t had any problems with it so far. It Is not drilled to my ceiling, I think the reason why it hasn’t fallen down on me yet is because I have a hardwood floor and every time its up I make sure its tightened very well. I’ve been having it for about 3 weeks and yeah.

    I can’t wait to get an Xpole. *sigh*

    Other than my poling, a little bit about me.

    I’m 18, I love food. I work at a Jack in the Box, part time college student. I’m studying to learn how to get into the paramedic service. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

    So yeah, in like a couple of years from now, I’ll be a Pole Dancing Paramedic.
    (hahhh).
