Hi from North Carolina!
Hi everyone, I’m Melissa!
I have been married to a Marine for nearly 13 years now. We have 3 gorgeous little girls ages 9, 8 and 6. I am a stay at home mom and student. I am studying https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_study.gif to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Photography. We live in Havelock, about 20 minutes from the ocean.
I am old and new to pole dancing lol. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif About 10 years ago I was a dancer for a very brief 3 months. I got my pole in October ’08 for my birthday but then found out my husband had orders to move so I didn’t really get to dance on it much. So now here it is almost a year later and I finally got my pretty pink pole put up! (about 2 weeks ago) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif Truth be told my girlies have been on it more than I have though. My middle daughter climbs her way to the top like a monkey. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_monkey.gif She can even pole sit (I’m kinda jealous) https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif She’s been trying to do some of the spins as well. I can’t wait to start taking Veena’s lessons!
I am trying to get back into shape. Well, round is a shape but it’s not the shape I want to be! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif I am thrilled to be a part of such a supportive online community! I posted my first video last night and several people have already made comments. Everyone is so supportive and I LOVE THAT!!! If I had posted on youtube I would have so many people heckling me because of my size.

My hubs is a Marine stationed at Cherry Point so I’m in Havelock. It’s between New Bern and Morehead City on 70. Follow 70 east from Raleigh and you should see it on a map.

I LOVE visiting North Carolina. We have a beach house on Topsail Island we go to yearly. I love it! I would love more than anything to relocate to Wilmington area so I can be closer to the ocean but I just bought my house in Indianapolis and a future relocation will just have to wait.
