I was under the impression that ChaLEAN’s is styled for losing weight- and using resssistance. P90x is definitely for building muscles/strength.

Charlene is like.. ‘Build muscles so you can BURN FAT’, Tony is like, "Get ripped. … to get ripped"

I’m on .. day … 35? or something of P90x, and I enjoy it. Tony Horton is a -beast-, and the most enjoyable fitnessman I’ve ever watched. I dunno.

I checked out the P90x program from the library. I seriously do not have the amount of time that P90x requires on a daily basis.

I also looked into ChaLEAN but have not seen the videos. I really like the turbojam series that she has and like the fact that I think the longest of her workouts is 45 minutes.

My honest opinion though is that if you pick a plan and stick with it religiously for 90 days you are going to see results. The hardest part is sticking with it religiously.

I just ordered chalene extreme. I will keep you posted on how it is. It seems to be more achieveable to me than p90x. That’s totally wicked.

I only know about P90X. While it’s an awesome 90 workout program, however, you do have to commit about 1.5 hours each day on it. I tried to do it, but I don’t have the time and it’s not an excuse either, but when people work 10+ hours a day, then you go home and have to do house chores, cook, clean, especially when you have a family, by the time I would have time for myself it’s close to 10pm. P90X does work (from the results I have seen on some of my friends), but I think you have to have a lot of time on your hand to get the results. Just my opinion on this.
