ok……. i am happily going to be able to put up 8 poles in the new year in a room with a ceiling height of about 9.5 feet (not ideal, but hey..)

WHAT POLES SHOULD I BUY?????? they will be used by multi levels. i should be able to control the heat and humidity fairly well…

there are a few things i want:

    50mm
    permanent static/spin
    good grip

i am struggling with this one, so please, please, please weigh in !

    thanks!

Seems the big debate is going to be XPole Vs PS….however, that debate is probably useless to have now since BOTH companies have just or very soon will come out with completely new lines.

I’d say you should wait and see what the feedback is about both before you can choose since you aren’t buying now.

Truthfully…if I built a new studio that was dedicated to pole dance…I’d put in either permanent or semi-permanent poles…something with a mounting bracket that the pole can be swung up out of the way when you dont’ want to use poles and prefer your entire floor or parts of it without poles in the way.

I believe PS has a fitting similar to this? BUt I HEARD that XP has developed this for their new line? NOt sure what the real story is though.

    Otherwise I’d install permanent poles.

    Hi Empy,

Yes, permanent is what I am looking for. A mount that allows the poles to swing up and out of the way would be IDEAL, as we are starting conservatively with our space.

I plan to phone both XPole and PS, to see what they have to say, but I’m also very interested to hear what all the Veena users think, too. Clientele’s preference, if you will….
