My favorite stuff to wear is a tank and a pair of shorts (the shorter the better). Seeing as it is your first class a t-shirt will be fine and you may even be able to get away with yoga pants. I would call the studio to find out.

As for flexibility…don’t worry. All instructors know how to work with all sorts of people (well, at least the should). For many people it is the first time they are exercising in years. You will be fine….just a forewarning, you WILL be addicted!

Our beginners dont leave the ground. Its lots of transitional moves. I wouldnt worry about the flexibilty just yet.

I also wear a tank and tiny shorts. But I doubt you will be doing alot that requires skin to pole contact, you should be fine with pants. Most studios list thier clothing reccomendations on thier website.

Good point amyxshi https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Lotion is a no-no, and indeed the shorter the shorts the better i.e. more grip!
