Hi guys i wanna get some studio veena lessons but just wondered how the payment works as i live in the UK. I was thinking of getting the 30 or 60 day ones but just wondered if i will get charged more from my bank for converting the pounds into US dollars…if thats the case how much should i expect to pay for a 30 or 60 day sign up? Also wanted to know if you need to sign up for lessons every 30 or 60 days or if the money just gets debted from your account every 30/60 days?? sorry for the daft questions just was a bit unsure how it works. thanks everyone https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

    Hey hun

You will be charged in dollars and it all depends on the current exchange rate as to what you’ll get charged.

If you go to somewhere like http://www.oanda.com it will tell you the current exchange rate. Then add a little bit as it won’t be quite as favourable as the actual base exchange rate (the banks usually add a commission charge)

So at todays rate, $10 is £6.26… so I would guess aim at somewhere under £7 per $10.
A week ago it was £6.19 and a month ago it was £6.00 per $10.

So, based on that, if it looks like it’s going up, (and the average trend over the last month looks that way) then that’s a justification for treating yourself sooner rather than later https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

If you pay for 30 days you will pay whatever the price is on that day. There’s no guarantees of whether the exchange rate will be more or less favourable when you want to pay again.

I’ve not bought lessons from here so you’d have wait for someone else to answer how recurring billing here works, but I would guess that either you will have to manually pay once your sub runs out. Or it will automatically do it. And, when each payment comes off your card, the amount will be dependent on whatever the exchange rate is at that point in time.

Hope that all makes sense! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

We use paypal so if you have every purchased something from the US using paypal before it works the same way. If you want to go month to month it will automatically deduct from your paypal account, so you wont have to worry about signing up over and over. Paypal will send you instructions for everything when you sign up. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_sunny.gif
