Ametuer Night
was wandering if anyone has done an ameuter night? have been curious about it for some time now but cant seem to find any info about ones in Rhode Island or Mass. from lots of other areas but nothing around here. also don’t know what to expect. have seen some videos out here from ametuer nights and the girls are doing moves that look very advanced and professional. am not going to make money as much as to experience this once in my life and get over the curiosity.. if anyone could give me any advice or suggestions would be helful

pole-twista, i’ve been thinking about thsi for over a year! ive searched in my state for amateur nights, even up in canada but i can’t find anything near me!!!!! i want to experience something like that too; i dont know much about them, but i did hear that it’s best if you look like you’re having an ABSOLUTE BLAST while you’re up there, and to look sad when your turn is over, like you were really into it and dammit my turn is over ALREADY???? im not sure if that’s what you really do during your turn on an amateur night but i’ve heard those tips before.

I don’t think I would have to fake a thing when i dance it’s like i’m in my own world anyone who has gone out dancing with me knows things that are happening right in front of me are totally lost on me especially if it’s a song I love I’ll be out on the dance floor with my eyes closed totally immersed in the music and movement https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_shaking2.gif
Would love to have the chance just once to be on stage with an audience had the chance 10years ago ( i had just turned 19 i just turned 29 ) but had never touched a pole and was way too shy now I’m older, feel confident on the pole and in general https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif I thought it would be so easy to find and sign up for an amateur night but can’t find anything even sort of in my area ( dont mind traveling a little, but not to say Boston which is an hours drive) have tried web sites, citysearch ect if anyone has any ideas how to locate and get info on amateur nights (dates/times/rules) it would be a great help thanks! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I’m not sure what clubs you have in your area, but Deja Vu will normally hold an ammeter night depending on how busy the club is. I would say call around to the clubs in your area and ask. It is a little time consuming, but it might be worth it.

well still no luck getting any info on amateur nights around here there are 2 clubs I know of, but can’t seem to get to there web pages or get any info on anything frustrating thought would be very easy to go to web pages and get some idea if this is even possible didnt really want to do this at the 2 I know b/c so close to home/work I know alot of people who go there but would if could just get some dates/timrs/rules ect https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

I’ve always wanted to do it but my boyfriend would probably be really mad at me hahaha…I’m surprised you guys aree having such a hard time finding something, there are tons here in Chicago!

lol!! i’m down for that!! i have like this crazy resolution thing aside from my normal resolutions- like do one crazy thing this year that you normally wouldn’t do. i think an amateur night is gonna be my crazy resolution. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif i asked my friend if he knew of any amateur nights in canada- he’s gonna get back to me later this week, i’ll let you know what i find out.
