I got the jade!
I need to tell you all that I just got the jade split! Ok, it still looks crappy and I need to flatten it out but I can hold it forever. Veena’s lessons broke every millimeter of it down so I finally understood how to hold it. The points about getting your torso up, locking the armpit, and twisting away from the pole were dead on. Veena, without your tips, it would have taken me much longer to get it with way more flops on the ground.
Isn’t it funny to recognize your own amazement at yourself when you get a move for the first time! I’m sitting here in shock! I planned on at least another month before I got this one!
BTW-how many folks can do it on both sides versus just one side?
