Hello
So I figured I’d been lurking long enough and decided to pop in and introduce myself. My name is Jennifer, I’m from the United States (Washington, actually,) and I first got interested in pole dancing through the S Factor a few years ago. I was living at home with my parents at the time so I never took the plunge, but about three years ago I moved into my own place, and this September I finally had the funds to buy a stainless steel Lil’ Mynx. I’ve been having a lot of grip problems thanks to a combination of my freakishly sweaty body and a cold pole due to low temps, but it’s finally starting to warm up so I’m having a little bit easier of a time. (Not a whole lot so far, but at least I am seeing SOME improvement in grip. I’ve also been experimenting with various grip aids.)
The closest studio is three hours one way from me, so I’ve just been learning at home. I purchased Veena’s lessons yesterday and have already watched a few, and they are excellent; she really breaks everything down well and makes it understandable. I bet I’ll make a lot of progress through them.
I’m 23, I like riding motorcycles, reading, writing, and I recently took drawing back up. I’m also teaching myself Mandarin and Japanese, and I’m a total butch tomboy, so it might surprise some people that I like to strap on a pair of heels and sexy dance, but my boyfriend enjoys that side of me. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
