I was wondering how many of you used the PS multi-piece pole. I have the older version, and finally got it set up. My ceiling is shorter than 7’5" so it took me a while to order the piece I needed for it. I’m still weary because I haven’t done anything on the pole since October 2009 and even then I was on a stationary pole that was bolted down on the floor and ceiling else where.

Did any one else have the jitters when they first set up their pole and when starting out pole dancing? How did you over come them?

I do not have one but the studio I go to has a multipiece. As long as you have it tight and level you should have no problems. Pole away!!!

At one point I had 4 super poles and they all worked great!

It sounds like you just need to turn up your favorite song and get lost just dancing around the pole and becoming one with it. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

Yeah, I once lived in a place where the joists made noise for the first month or so of pole. Kind of sounded like they were groaning. Then they got used to it. LOL

I also have a superpole, and I am still alive.

Mine does. (Although I have a Lil’ Mynx and not a PS.) At first it scared the crap out of me, but then I thought ‘well, there IS an eight foot piece of steel wedged between my floor and my ceiling; I’d groan a little too.’ Plus, my apartment is an older unit, so it creaks a bit even without the pole. I don’t think you should worry about it; you get used to it after a while, and once you’ve had your pole up for a while, it seems like there’s less creaking. Maybe everything’s just settling into place.
