Hey, this is mostly for people that have a WIDE range of music they listen/pole to.
How do you go about organizing your playlist? I started organizing my playlist for my classes and then realized that that method wasn’t good enough or detailed enough. How detailed can yours get? What songs get played next to each other. Thanks

I typically set my playlist to slower more melodic songs at the beginning to warm up with, then I go into the more intense ones for a little while, then back to more melodic slow ones to cool down to. I also have my grouped by genre. So if I’m in the mood to dance to more hard/metal stuff I have a playlist just for that. If I want more pop I have one for that. How I pick what songs go next to each other, is if I like the transition from one to the next, they go next to each other. I don’t get to fussy about transitions of songs though. I more or less just try and keep certain genres together so I’m not going from like say NIN to The Black Eyed Peas. Not sure if that helps https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Mine’s (I have an 8.5-hour pole playlist) on shuffle all the time. I like to go with the flow. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Poler.. the controlling side of me just wont let me. I thought about particular genres… but that seems to … generic what if I wanna hear Lil Wayne right after Sia…
I gotta get to my ipod, change playlist, etc.
I was hoping there was a more creative, yet orderly way to divide our music.
Granted I do have a select list of songs I like to warm up and cool down too but those can also double for time on the pole…

    More suggestions welcome!

I rarely organize playlists. But when I do they’re usually divided into:
Party/Disco Songs (the kind of dance-crazy go-wild music)
Favorites (my favorites that I listen to most of the time or that I really like)
    Old music (Beatles, Cranberries, Eurythmics)
Sleeply relaxing music (Enya, Piano music, etc)
    Instrumentals
    Rock n’ Roll

    And that’s basically it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

*EDIT*: I don’t think I even answered your question. LOL https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
