How Often Can I Pole?
Since my recent over-poling seems to have resulted in some swollen knuckles and finger joints, as well as a sore elbow, I am beginning to realize that you can definitely, and easily, over-do it.
I saw Veena’s post under New 2 Pole about how often you should pole, but figured it only applied to beginning polers (which I am, and should have listened https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif ).
Then I saw another post about workout regimes and I notice that even you experienced girls don’t pole everyday.
So, I guess I am just trying to think out loud here:
Beginners – definitely not everyday
Advanced/Experts – still not everyday?I’m a bit bummed because I thought that as I became better and had more muscle control and all that good stuff, that I could pole everyday, and that seems to not be the case.
I have been using my time off to just work on stretching and floor work and stuff along those lines, but, OH MY, it is SOOO tempting because some kind of move or pose will jump in my mind and I want to do it SOOO bad. I had to take my pole away for stretching because even though it gives me a wonderful resistance to stretch from – it is just too tempting to stay off of. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gif
