so, maybe these are wrong for other reasons, but they DO work. we do this in pole class, so i thought i would share them with all you non-stickers!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
    1. grip aid. the stuff they sell online. works!
    2. Hairspray. Any old "extra hold" one will do. But NOT just for dousing the hands in–put it all over the legs and thighs for some extra grip! I was skeptical of this at first, but it truly makes ya sticky.
    3. And lastly, rubbing alcohol. Good for wiping stuff off the pole, good for making you slip-proof. Spray onto legs, thighs, belly, whatever…it’s kinda temporary tho…
but…these are the things that i have tried that do seem to work for me! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif idk whether hairspray could be damaging to a pole or not, but i’m thinkin not since we use it for the classes….

Gel antiperspirant–just takes a bit, let it dry on hands, thighs, wherever. It’ll help keep you grippy and keep you from sweating (which, of course, makes one less grippy).

With alcool I end with even more sweaty hand before long but maybe it’s just me. And i heard about using the stuff for cleaning hands without water work well and it’s a fact that I’m left with a little sticky hands after using it. I should give it a try a come back to tell you.

I’ve tried hairspray and it didn’t really work for me https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif It just balled up on my palms when I was spinning and rubbed off on the pole and made it totally disgusting. I’m still experimenting with liquid chalk and gloves…

OMG whoever tried hairspray is a genius!! I know it didn’t work for you solya but i tried it today and it WORKED!
I always have issues with slippyness and weirdly it’s always worse on my pole :'( but today i coated myself in hairspray and voila no issues!
Will definately be doing this from now on, hope it doesn’t hurt my pole though…. x

I will be trying the hairspray trick soon. BUT, I would say be careful make sure you wash real good afterward because hairspray will clog your pores. We don’t want to start getting pimples all over the place lol…

I used Wellaflex and Tresemme Freeze Hold. Sakura didn’t it rub off on the pole? I might give it another go tomorrow, especially that liquid chalk is burning the hell out of the wounds on my hands lol.

a little bit… but it didn’t go gross or anything. I wiped it off when i was finished with baby wipes. I did let it dry completely before i started poling so it was just kind of a mildy sticky cover to my hands. Made me feel like spider man https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif lol x
