Question about the lessons
Posted by reenie aka Mysfit on May 15, 2010 at 4:05 amHello……….
I am just waiting for my credit card to get all set up with paypal…………then I will be buying access to the online lessons………..My question is:
Are they in a progressive order? I know they are separated into beginner, intermediate, advanced………
but in those sections, are they in a progressive order-you should have this before going on to this type thing?
So………plank before??
Before trying this mount, you should be able to complete……..It is friday and my brain is almost done~ I apologize if this post happens to be "clear as mud" lol
Huge thanks

Your question is not so mudy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif
I just start Veena lesson 2 weeks ago and I don’t think they’re really in some order but watch all of them once for beginning. Most of the time if it’s a move you should be a little more advance (even in beginner) she will tell it. Or sometime she say it a good move to learn before that other move.Anyway from one person to another it don’t always go in the same order so don’t worry if you have hard time with one that other think it’s easy, we’re all different and we learn a different way. Good luck https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Veena places all the lessons in the order she feels its best to learn them.

Hi there, yes they are in order…..the very first lesson that pops up when you enter you should watch!! It tells you how to use the lessons and does indeed inform you that they are in order. Start with the strength training section first, then move on to beginner and so on. Be sure to watch all of the informational lessons that I have in the line up of lessons https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif

Sorry I misguide you https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_redface.gif since I had already pole dancing a bit I’m use to go a little bit all over the place.

Another question about veena’s online lessons. My pole and pc are not in the same room and I don’t have a laptop. The rooms are right next to each other. Are the online lessons to where I should be watching in the same room as my pole. I’m especially wonderng about the strength training exercises.
Thanks!

You can take a look at the sample lesson on the front of the site. This is how all of the lessons are broken down. I have had a few ladies email, one i think made a post here about it….letting me know that they were able to use the lessons without having a computer in the same room. I can’t say for sure that it will work for you but I know it has worked for others https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

When i first started the lessons my pole was upstairs and my pc was down stairs.. I’d watch key parts a couple times…pause it ..run upstairs (great for those glutes too! lol) try it..if i had a problem i’d run back down here and rinse and repeat

Thanks veena and megs. I’m hoping to be able to begin online lessons in a month or so. A lot coming up in June expense wise. Wish I could try sooner, but need to wait a bit. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I was able to start veena’s online lessons and so glad I did! I’m still waiting to hear status of my job but my husband told me to get them. He pointed out I’ve been spending money for workshops/classes which are 1-3 hours away, so what’s the difference of paying for online lessons to work at my own pace, etc. My hubby is a gem!!
I love the way the lessons are set up to watch, listen to explanation, watch veena, then practice it. If I forget something, I just watch again till my brain grasps it. I like the strength exercises that lead up to spins, tricks, etc. They will also help me to imrove or clean up what I’ve learned on my own. These lessons will give me a map to progress without me having to decide what to try next and possibly make a wrong decision. There are some things I may not be able to get and that’s okay (I think of shoulder mount), there is plenty to learn and have fun with. I just love the exercise and fitness that comes from poling. THANKS VEENA!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif
