So this isnt really pole related at all but I just watched this video and it reminded me of how if you love something and truly believe in something, you have to fight for it! Us polers sometimes have to really defend ourselves and fight for our passion!

This is the music video for Erykah Badu’s "window seat" which was filmed in downtown Dallas where President JFK was assassinated. Watch till the very end…she shares some inspiring words.

Oh and yes, she got in trouble with the news and the police for this lol YOU GO GIRL!

This video was in the news here in dallas for a while. But I must admit it made her famous. The news had problems with it since they didnt get any permits or cleared the area of the children. Many people are sueing her for being naked and how it has tramatized their children. The message is good but there are so many other ways of getting it across or atleast to do it legally.

I like that she didn’t get permission, but I myself am a bit of a rebel to authority. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_twisted.gif She had to do it without permission to make it as real as it was. Also, the whole point was to send the message that the "herd" will mistreat the "individual" for being different. I think the lawsuits, news broadcasts, etc proved that to be true.
I wouldn’t be offended or traumatized if I or my son had seen this on the street. Had she been being nasty and grinding and licking her nipples or something I would be pissed, but this was really just a form of art. I would explain that to my child and secretly thank Eryka Badu for incorporating the nude female body into a video without making it about pleasing a man.
    I love it! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
