    As always we are working hard on new and improved features for StudioVeena.com. One thing we are committed to is improving your video experience and what that means to us is better encoding (less errors when you upload videos), mobile video and better video performance around the world. I have setup a video test, and if you could help us out by watching this on your computer, and your mobile phone then answering the below questions it would be greatly appreciated.

    I know what is causing the clip not found error and am working on fixing it. This is a Windows only issue for IE and Firefox. Do you have the ability to try this in a phone?

    hey!

    I am located in Austria and I use an apple mcbook. my browser is called safari.

    The video was loaded in no time. It was really fast and the quality was very good. I also tried watching the video on my phone but that didn’t work. the space where the video is supposed to be is black and it says "playback methods" and "downloading video".

    I really don’t know what a band is!

    But I can give a general description of my phone. It’s an "Orange Boston", it’s an iphone "look-a-like". and I can use the internet with my phone!

    Much better! Usually I choose to watch the lessons in Medium format for load time. According to firebug, the loading times for me were:
    – The next gen test page took 4.27s to load
    – Then when I pressed play, it took an additional 9.4 seconds before it started playing
    – Then It took about 3 seconds to switch the full screen. I’m very impressed!

    Skipping to other points in the video was practically instantaneous (YAY!) What I especially liked what that the video did not go out of sync with the audio or freeze up if I used the seekbar frequently (something that happens on youtube alot, and drives me nuts!)

    In normal mode, the picture quality was high enough, and certainly better than most member vids. When I went to fullscreen the quality suffered a bit, and there was definite degradation. It didn’t bother me much though, because it was still nice and clear.

    9. Please provide any other comments regarding your video experience:
    If I was going to nitpick, I’d say that the seekbar should appear a little faster, when I hover, and I would prefer it to be purple, black, silver or yellow to match the site https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

    Bug report: If I switch between fullscreen and regular mode, sometimes the play/pause button often stops working, as does skipping to other parts of the vid.

    The error according to firebug is: "this.playerElement.sendNotification is not a function" coming from "mwEmbed-player-static.js"

    9. Please provide any other comments regarding your video experience: Video loaded for me instantly, looked clear and played from start to finish without any choppyness.

WHEN I PRESSED PLAY I HAD TO WAIT FOR ABOUT 1 OR 2 MINS FOR THE VIDEO TO PLAY BUT IT PLAYED WITHOUT STOPPING ALL THE WAY THROUGH AS OPPOSED TO THE CURRENT VIDEO WHERE I HAVE TO PAUSE THE VIDEO AND LET IT LOAD FOR ABOUT 10 MINS BEFORE I CAN PLAY IT FULLY
    9. Please provide any other comments regarding your video experience: SOUND WENT LOW @ ONE POINT BUT THEN RETURNED TO NORMAL AFTER A WHILE. ALSO I TURNED UP THE VOLUME I GOT A SMALL BUZZING SOUND ON BOTH COMPUTER & PHONE BUT I WAS STILL ABLE TO HEAR VEENA https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

    Works great now! the only thing was that the seeker-slider did not work in the expanded (full screen mode) — odd, not tragic.
