    Hey everyone!
I’m not sure if this is the right place to post this but…
I just moved to a new apartment and want to set up my pole. The problem is that we have a "popcorn" ceiling (made of the little flaky, popcorn-y things). Does anyone know if there is a way to put up the pole without damaging the ceiling?

    Thanks!

As far as I know the any pole with a dome or a plate will not damage the ceiling – you will lose popecorm bits but not many. It should be all good.

The only problem I had was a faint indent that you could barley see after i took it down- but it did help when I brought it back out! LOL

I have a popcorn ceiling as well and it doesnt not damage it. You WILL see a ring after taking it down from where the popcorn "pieces" get flattened by the force of the pole, plus if you dont tighten your pole enough and it starts to move (happened to me) the popcorn with fall off as the pole dome moves across the ceiling. The ring that it leaves really isnt noticable unless you are actually looking for it. I rent a house and my landlord came over to install a new AC unit and (to avoid an awkward conversation) I decided to take the pole down. There were no questions asked, he didnt even notice the ring. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif
