A friend of mine mentioned there is a studio in our area who appears to be selling second hand x-perts as brand new ones. She has said to a number of people she takes the poles students decide they don’t want, clean them up and sell them on as brand new for the full price, obviously not telling the new owner. The friend bought a pole and for a number of reasons has now become suspicious she was sold a second hand pole. Do you think she can do anything about it? Is the studio doing anything wrong other than being misleading?

Unless you can prove this then there is nothing you can do.

Why does she think she was sold a second hand pole?

I presumed that. If it wasn’t for the fact a number of the pieces are faulty I don’t think she would worry too much.

The pole had no packaging, no protective tube, nothing – my friend didn’t realise it was supposed to come in a box

It took two days from order to delivery from California to Canada, in my experience, when coming from the states it takes 6-10 business days. She was told the studio get special delivery deals which means it comes faster. I am an x-pole dealer and have never been aware of that. Someone please correct me if I am wrong though!
