Come see Stephanie Skyy, winner of the Audience Favorite title at the 2010 East Meets West Pole Drama competition! She loves to add her unique attitude and energy to her performances and give the audience a show to remember!!! Her teaching is just as infectious as her performances. Every class is a party!!!
About Steph:
She has been a certified aerobic fitness instructor since 2004, a pole dance instructor since 2006 and an at…hlete her whole life. She took her first pole dance class at DivaFit pole dancing studio in Ashburn, VA in October 2006 (one month after they opened their doors). She loved her first class so much she took excitement about pole and aerobics certifications to the owner and was hired, trained and teaching her first class by December 2006. She has been teaching ever since and enjoying every minute of it!By day she works full time in government subcontracting world as a Procurement Manager. And by night (and weekends) she teaches pole to all willing to learn!!!
Pole Dancing Basic Inverts and Progressions- $40 -1.5 hours
12:00 pm – 1:30 pmA workshop designed for students of varying abilities. Stephanie Skyy will teach you the basics of inverting, and how far you can take each move and transition. She will break down how to get the strength required to perform some basic, intermediate and advance holds. Can you invert? Know a few cool tricks and want and to learn more? Want to put several inverted poses into a sequence with seamless transitions? This is the class for you!!
Pole Dancing Skyy High Specialty – $40 -1.5 hours
1:30 pm – 3:00 pmLearn tips and techniques on how to perform to an audience or a partner.
Even if you never plan to pole for anyone other than yourself, come learn the key to unlocking the diva inside !Performance Jam/Meet and Greet – Free to workshop attendees ; $20.00 non attendees
3:15 pm – 5:30 pm
Like a pole jam but more to see!!!!Stephanie will kick off the Jam with one of her signature performances!
Guests will have the opportunity to ask a 2010 national pole performer all the questions they wish. Guests are welcome to play !!Sunday, January 16th
Private lessons Available
-$60 an hour
-$30 for half an hournon refundable pre registration payment due prior to January 15th for workshops, pole jam and private lessons
