    Hello Webmaster,

Are there any plans to allow users to edit their forum posts? That was super handy in the past.

Also will we be able to remove/hide certain comments on our wall? (Whether they be from us, or to us).

I would really appreciate both of these features. 😀

Also – a side note on design – it took me a little while to find the '+ Start New Thread' link, because I was looking for a purple button to match the others.

Oops I meant to post that in 'Site Related'. Thought it would go there automatically, because I was in that section when I pressed '+Start New Thread'. Only noticed that drop down after I pressed 'Save' and then it was too late.

Any chance you could move it to the right place?

@fern – The categories are just advisory its a filter more than a requirement so there is no need to move it.

We are not planning on allowing edits to forum posts.  Forums are conversations, and just like a conversation you can't go back and change what you said.  If you change what you said or delete what you said it changes the entire context of the conversation not just what you posted.

Comment removal will come sometime soon.

As to design all primary and secondary navigation are accomplished through links while actions such as "Save" or "Publish" are the only thing that use purple buttons.

Okay I see your point about not being able to edit posts. I just hate spelling/grammar mistakes so it drives me nuts not to be able to correct a typo! I know on facebook you can't edit things you publish either. But that's why I often end up deleting my comment and rewriting it, whenever I have to fix a word or something.

Oh well, guess I'll just have to be a lot more thorough with my proof reading from now on, haha!

(You could call me stickler I suppose :P)

I have a question related but not really. When I post with my iPhone I noticed that I can’t scroll up past the confines of the window so I can’t go up and edit anything unless I delete all the way up and re-type. Is it possible to make the window bigger so I can see my whole post? Then I wouldn’t have to scroll (which isn’t possible anyway) thoughts??
