  Just have to share…LOVE the reverse handspring!

  I just tried the reverse handspring mount yesterday–so much fun!  I think it would flow into a dance very easily….just walk around the pole and suddenly *boom* you're vertical!

  Has anyone tried any combos or variations on the reverse handspring?

  Ah, I think in most circles this is known as the 'forwards handspring' seeing as you kick your legs in front of you (instead of behind, like the regular handspring), am I right?

   

  I think it looks good too – it's a great way to get up to a butterfly. 🙂

  I can see why it would be called the Forward Handspring.  "Reverse" also makes sense to me, since in the regular Handspring you essentially spring backwards and twist the body into position, whereas with the "reverse" you spring forward and the body is already in position.

  And it would be a good way to get into the Butterfly!  Have to try it out 🙂
