I sat on my pole! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif Ive had my pole for 5 days now, and after lots of playing with it, i finally sat on it https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif.

I must sound pretty stupid being all excited about one little 'move'…but its a quite an achievement for me as i couldnt even hold myself help when i first got it.

Before i was able to sit on my pole, the other move i learnt was the Side Spin. It wasnt a move i meant to learn, kinda just happened hehe.

Im hoping to work out how to do Fan Legs one day soon…for some reason my legs just dont wanna look elegant & pretty….anyone else have that problem?

Nothing silly about being proud of an achievement!  Congratulations!

I had that problem all the time, you just have to keep practicing and concentrating on pointing your toes and extending your legs.  Congrats on the pole sit, I could not sit on my pole for months so it sounds like you're making great progress : )

Congrats! Everything will come with time – we're all at different levels with regards to strength and fitness as much as with our skill on the pole, so what's easy for one person can be really tough for someone else.

At least practicing fan legs doesn't pinch like a pole sit does… good luck with it!

Congrats on your pole sit!!! You will build more and more moves with practice and time. Point your toes and extend your legs with energy. It does not matter if they are two inches or three feet off the floor, they will look beautiful.

It doesn't matter how advanced we are, we all remember our fit pole sit and how hard it was. Congrat on this move and don't worry they don't hurt like that…some more advances hurt a lot morehttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif . As for the fan kick it require good core strenght because you have to hold yourself so keep working it.

Hey, congrats! Pole sit is soooooo tricky and requires lots of strength and coordination! You NEVER forget how tough the basic moves are, so we rejoice with you!

It took me about a year to get a decent fan kick. It grew with my leg and hip flexibility and ab strength, so just keep at 'er! You'll get it!!
