Help ceiling gonna fall down!!
Oh my..
Just been upstairs to move my pole downstairs. Its been up in the bedroom since xmas.. I was just un tightening it and I can hear cracking and other nasty noises coming from the ceiling….
LOOKED UP AND EITHER SIDE OF THE POLE THERE ARE CRACKS IN THE CEILING, I HAVE COME DOWN STAIRS TO POST ON HERE QUICK, Im scared if I undo any more its going to fall down..
What do I do??? Im in rented property, How on earth would I explain to my landlord part the ceiling has come down,, Bit worried about putting it downstairs now.. Oh my goodness me!!

Now im thinking, did I tighten it rather than undo it.. just been up again, the Instructions say , clockwise. I did that, its still cracking…

I have done it! Its down!!
Daughter told me clockwise,, it was meant to go Anti clockwise.. eeekkk
lucky I noticed before it was too late !!

It's ok, thank god!!
What a twit I am, I was winding it the wrong way so making it tighter, No wonder the ceiling was shouting out in pain…oopps!!!
