Hi everyone!!!  I just moved into an apartment with nice high vaulted ceilings and I'm having trouble attaching my x-pole to the ceiling. The problem is that the ceiling joist is too thin and only 4 of the 6 screws on the ceiling attachment will screw into it securely. It doesn't seem unstable or anything but I'm really scared to use it without all the screws so is there anyway that i can reinforce it without having access to an attic? Thanks 🙂

Give X Pole a call.  They have great customer service!

I also had that problem recently.  I don't understand why they designed the screw holes in the mount to be set out so wide.  I emailed X-Pole and they told me to just center the mount on the stud/beam and if at least the middle screw on each side on the mount was screwed into the stud then it would be sturdy enough.  So that is how mine is installed and I have used it quite a bit without any problem.  Hope that helps.
