Hello,
Newbie here from the great state of Colorado!
I won't tell you how old I am, let's just say that I've been married to the most wonderful man in the world for almost 26 years. I have 3 children and my 'baby' is graduating from college in May and he will be getting married in 2012. I also have a beautiful 5 year old granddaughter whom I have legal custody of and she keeps me on my toes! (Should help with those stilletos!)
I've taken a couple of classes at a studio that's about 1 hour from my house and I am hoping to get my pole next week!
I've been lurking here for a couple of days and I've watched every one of Veena's lessons. Veena, YOU ARE TOTALLY AWESOME! You are absolutely the BEST teacher! (Can't wait to try the 'Booty Pop' and the 'Booty Shake'!)
I am so excited to be here. Everyone seems so supportive and helpful. I can't believe how lucky I was to come across this site!

Welcome to sv! As you can already see, you'll love it here. How did you find the site? As for age, you'll also see it's just a number here. I have so much fun in chat on Fridays, hope you can join us. I forget I'm chatting with 20 yr olds 🙂 and we are of all ages. May we'll have been married 33 yrs and we have a 26 yr old son.
Can't wait for you to get your pole! I agree veena's lessons are wonderful. What kind of pole are you getting. Again, glad to have you here.

I agree that age really isn't a factor here – I was sort of joking that "yeah, I am on the older side of things"! That actually was one of the things that really attracted me to here. What attracted me was it seems that everyone is accepted – no matter what size they are, how old they are, where they live, or anything!
Congrats on being married for 33 years! I'm always so happy to hear when people have been married for a long time.
What is the Friday chat? I haven't seen anything about that.
I'm going to be gettting an X Pole, XPERT, Titanium gold.
I found this site while I was on U Tube looking at pole videos and I came across the video of Veena wearing a mustache and getting a lap dance and I thought it was a SCREAM! I thought to myself, "if someone can be that silly while still giving wonderful instructions, I want to get to know them!" I am so thankful that the website was at the bottom of that video!

Welcome Stevesgirl~~ I'm a newbie too!! I found out about SV through Dirdy Birdy's and Tara Karina's youtube. Sorta like you, I started a couple of classes in the studio…and the studio is an hr drive from my house.
I love SV! People are very supportive…I hope (someday) I'll be good enough with my poling skills to video myself and put it up here…lol
