Spin mode is all about control- you are in control of the spin of how fast and slow it goes.  Spin pole requires a lot of core strength and in general just practice.  It's all about the momentum and learning to control the momentum.  From my experience, my Lil' Mynx and Xpole spin the same.  I don't notice a difference in the 2 types of poles.  The closer your body is to the pole, the faster you're going to go and if you pull away, it slows down.  It just takes time, patience, persistence, and lots of practice and playing around with certain movements on the pole to acclimate yourself to spin mode.

I have yet to master spin mode.  I am so used to using momentum on static that when I try the same move in spin I want to puke.  You BARELY need to push off and it is more of a hold while you let the pole spin you.

I have a question for all Lil Mynx owners. Well, questions. I am in the market for a couple new poles and I am scared of Xpoles new design. I have heard and seen only bad things happen with it. My chrome xpole is always so slick and I do not dance as much as I would like because of this. I have heard the Stainless lil mynx is slick too. I wonder if it is slicker than chrome?? I have heard the powder coated is grippy. I would be getting the wider pole. I have a 45 now and am over it. So, Has your LM pole ever fell? Has it ever ate your cieling? Do you feel like the grip is good? I think that is it for now. LOL! Thanks!!!

I love my Lil Mynx powder coated…I also have a PS multi that I like alot – but for ease of set up I like my Lil Mynx.

It has never fallen on me – if you are talking studio use I would not want one unless it was permanent – but for home it's great!

I USED to have a lil mynx stainless and it was WAY too slippery for me – I sold it and bought the powder rotater 🙂

I have a SS LM and like Veruca, no issues with it. It's a great pole.

My experience with spin mode on both was this. The LM spin has a crazy outward force. I was pretty strong when using it, but literally COULD NOT pull my body in towards the pole on a spinner. I felt like I was gonna fly off. I think it might spin faster with less of a push-off. With the x pole, it feels much smoother (not as fast and the force doesn't feel as strong.)

I too am afraid to get a new x pole. I want to get the new SS and brass x perts, but I had initial problems with the joints, and I am now noticeng a tiny bump on my pole where the A&B poles meet, where the joint pokes the notch. I am worried that will get worse over time.

I really like my Lil minx pole. It doesn't spin or anything, it's just a plain stainless steel one, but it's been the only pole I've ever needed! Never had an issue with it coming down, or bending, or anything. Everything I could want in a pole (other than spinny- I didn't know that existed when I got my pole!), and nothing I don't!

Hi! I had a ss lil mynx and sold it because of the grip. I then got a powder coated one that also spins, it has great grip. I love it! It does spin fast but it’s fun! I am going to sell it because I am getting a xpole

Sorry, I hit the save button to soon. The only reason I am going to sell it is because I am taking over the guest room with taller ceilings! I will let it go for $200.00 however, this pole is for 9-10 foot ceilings!
