    Hey Bailey,

Go figure there hasn't been any response. I bet most of the other ladies that have read this are thinking that we are lucky when it comes to the other end of the spectrum. They are soo wrong,

Just to give you other ladies an idea what it is like to not have curves:

    Bruising more easily.

It sucks when you don't have much to sit on.

Cold a lot of the time because you don't have much for insulation. Along with the splotchies.

Flaps, folds, twisting for dresses and intimate wear and wrinkles in your clothes because they don't fit right because they are made for curves that stick out all over.

Your jewelry has to be made if you want something nice.

Bra's dig in on your bones.

If your metabolism does reverse a bit when you get older you have to re-learn what you can and can't eat because you can't eat like crazy anymore.

You actually have to watch how much you do excercise if you loose weight too easily.

I have to say that what helped me gain a little bit of weight and finally get some curves was a healthy relationship, age, eating more often and getting some better sleep.

I am just shy of 32 years old now, 4 feet 10 inches and weigh about 105. Six years ago I weighed on average 90-95 pounds. I also danced on a regular basis for work, just like now.I have dreamed of getting to about 112 so then I could have a couple pounds of lee-way so I could donate blood since I was in highschool.  I still can't seem to get past my new plateau (ACK!!!).

The only time I was close enough was when I was pregnant and  you can't donate blood when you are pregnant.

So I feel your angst. Please be patient. Remember you have the metabolism of a young woman and that will change a little or a lot when you get older. I know it is hard to wait.

Also check with your doctor  to see if you have problems digesting food that can help you put on weight.

I really wish I could be more helpful, but the weight industry is set up for those that want to lose weight; not those that want to gain unless you are counting muscle mass.

    ciao for now,

    M. V.

    I completely understand you!

I think now I'm in my biggest stage in my life I'm 5"5 and weight around 46 kilos(not sure in pounds), but before I am sure I looked anorexic to some people, and everyone always asked me if I'm healthy or eat well.

It was just my genes https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif

I found though that poling REALLY helped me getting into a healthier shape. I am still thin, but gained muscle, so that my body feels healthier and stronger. And you do look better, after all I think it doesn't matter what size you are, but what state you body is in.

Balancing your diet helps too for sure. Don't listen to those who say go eat a cheeseburger https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Make sure you eat enough proteins and greens.

I'm vegetarian, so I get  iron supplements such as Floravit, which I suggest even to those who eat meat.

I think the bottom line is to have a healthy lifestyle, and to eat sufficiently, then somehow your body always reaches its natural state.

Same boat!!!  Stress is right a healthy lifestyle definitely helps, but I still can't gain like my friends.  I am a member of another forum and there is an entire section for people that want to gain weight.    I have found the most successful method for me is to workout (strength train) and take cytogainer at least 2 times a day.  However, I went to replace my cytogainer Sunday and realized the formula has changed and it doesn't have as many calories.. 🙁   I am considering Russian Bear (5000 calories, highest calorie weight gainer on the market)

I am in my mid-thirties, 5'2" and right now I am 132.. I was 115 most of my adult life even after childbirth…I was able to reach 130 with extreme strength training and weight gain shakes.. however, my goal is 140 and I have been there once.. I slacked off working out for 2 weeks and was back to 135 and I cannot seem to get back there.

Recently I lost my job and my boyfriend and the stress had me down to 130…

I have tried periactin (prescription antihistamine that increases weight gain) but I cannot function for 2 1/2 days after taking it.   Many of the ladies on the other forum resort to prescription meds and I don't really like the idea of that.. the new craze is megace (I think that is the name.. prescribed to cancer patients and anorexics)..

I hate the way clothes fit.. I wore a pair of strappy stilletos a party with shorts and the straps looked like hula hoops around my ankles to me.. I know how you feel.

I would start a weight training regimen doing some heavy weights 8-10 rep range then up your calories to around 1700-2000 in good quality food. Get in about 40% protein 40% carbs and 20% fat. Spread out your calories to 5-6 meals or whatever u can handle. Keep cardio to a minimum. Not high since u are trying to gain weight. Maybe just the cardio u get in from doing dance. Hope that helps.

Talk to a doctor about a healthy way to approach it is. One thing to keep in mind is your body type. Do you have wide hips or narrow hips? If you have wide hips and start gaining weight, you will probably be able to get a curvy look, but if your hips are narrower, it will be hard, if not impossible to get a curvy look. Genetics are just a pain. Also, if you start putting on weight and it starts concentrating only in your mid section, I would talk to your doctor cuz that is unhealthy weight.
