I've had a look through the forum, but couldn't see anything really helpful, so although I'm sure a million other people have had this problem before I'm posting again in the hopes someone will have an incredible new insight that will save me!

I have really dry, flaky skin, and I sweat BUCKETS. (Sorry for grossing you out. :P). So I am constantly stuck to the pole. Like…stuck.

For some moves, this is great! But for others – namely, spins – it's really painful. I was trying reverse grab last week, but my upper hand sticks so well that it's impossible to turn it – so my wrist ends up rotating through 360 degrees as I spin, with my whole arm wrapped around the pole. Not elegant or comfortable, lol.

It's not my grip that's the problem, if I place my palm flat against the side of the pole I can't even move my hand up and down smoothly because I stick so much. I've tried poling in a really cool room where I nearly had goosebumps, and it was just as bad as in a really hot room. I've tried prescription-strength antiperspirants to no avail; I've tried cleaning the pole with Windex, which doesn't help; I've tried moisturiser before poling (I know it's bad, but I was desperate) but that made me MORE sticky! The only thing that works is talcum powder, to soak up the sweat, but that only lasts 2 or 3 minutes.

Does anyone have any ideas to dry me out?! I'm sick of sticking! I want to be able to spin. 🙁

Have you tried chalk?  Like the kind that bodybuilders and gymnasts use?
