Yes, I have that problem as well and it's because of my slow internet connection. I always pause the video and let it load for a while and then I can watch it.
With a faster connection I don't have that problem.
It is a bit frustrating, that's true … https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif

Yes, I have the same problem. And when I press pause it pauses for a bit and starts playing again :S Like I can't even pause it to load the video.

If I press pause while the video is loading it starts playing again ..
If I press the pause button exactly in a moment the video is playing it stays on pause and I can let it load.
Maybe you can try that? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

I am also having this problem (and have been since the site upgrade) and hitting pause does nothing to help. It doesn't seem to buffer the video at all. All videos on the site have become unwatchable no matter what computer I sign in with.

I have always had that problem but only with certain videos….about one out of every 30 I watch. I may try to watch that same video at another time and once it is slow/lags, it always will for me. Even though every other video is showing fine.

We also have this problem and, like others, use the pause-let it load-play solution, but it doesn’t work every time.
We have a fast connection and it doesn’t seem to make any difference what machine we are using, iPad, pc, Linux laptop or if it is wired or Wi-Fi. It is worth noting that it isn’t solely Studio Veena either, so we can’t lay blame there.
One thing that does seem to apparent is the time of day. We can only assume that the extra demand on the web at peak times slows down the traffic.
Maybe internetnet service providers should limit the access speeds that business and student accounts use and let the more worthy subscribers (Studio Veena members) have priority to band width. I feel the need for a petition to government………anyone else with me on this?

Count me in! This has been an irritant since I joined 3 mos. ago! 🙁
When I Do hit 'pause'.. it just ignores me. Nothing loads ahead and I have a killer fast internet connection, so I'm NOT laying the blame there. 🙂
I really WOULD like to watch more of the videos, but it so irritating, I've just given up.

I have the same problem! Whenever I watch a video, it stops … and after it has loaded a bit it goes on for 2 or 3 seconds .. then it stops again. If I press pause, it doesn't work, it just continues to load … and stop … and load … This is SO annoying, since it takes me about 6 times as long to watch a video than the length of the video itself is. I have not found a solution for it yet, and I am sure it isn't my internet connection's fault, as youtube videos load in absolutely no time!
Please, Webmaster, could you fix this? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Glad to see it is not just me! I've tried four different computers…..even the computer at work today. A college (probably against my computer agreement I signed), but I wanted to see if certain videos "lagged" with their high-tech system. And it DID….pause/lag, just went on and one start/stop! I don't know if this is something on Veenas site? I thought I was maybe my camera, but I was told the camera shouldn't make that happen.
HELP WEBMASTER!!!!!!!!! From all of us polers. I like Smalltownboys suggestion, that the work place's, schools, etc., need to quit using their internet connections, so we VEENERS can do what we need to do when we want to do it!!! GEEZ!!!!!!

There are alot of reasons for lag. Video is a very complex endeavor on the Internet. If you are having problems please contact me directly with you location and the results of the test found at http://www.speedtest.net

Tried this speedtest.net site before……wanted to charge me $25.00 to "clean my system". It this a legit site????? Not sure I want to spend that money if it is a scam……..let me know, THANKS!

Speedtest is 100% legit. Many Internet providers use it to benchmark new installs. If you were asked to pay you either clicked an advertisement or have spyware on your machine that hijacks web addresses on your computer and redirects to another site.

I have this issue too. But not with every video, only some. My ISP said that it is the result of the person who actually downloads the video – if they are downloading the video from their slow computer with slow upload speeds, then no matter how fast my computer is, it will still only receive the video the way it was input (with slow speeds).
The ISP could tell me just about anything because I have no clue as to the "how's" and "why's" of how things work, but I just thought I would throw that out there in case it were legit https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Lyme Lite, do not click on "Start Scan Now" but on the "Begin Test" that pops up on what looks like a laptop.
