  Confusion

  Can anyone figure out what this guy is trying to do, because I sure can't?????

  I think he is just starting in that original position and trying to get into an inverted butterfly (so his knee would still be on the pole, with his other leg up and out.) I've seen similar moves.

  That's actually one of my favorite moves. I managed to do it a few times about a year ago…no such luck now.

  You can do the same more aerially, from the Cupid to the Butterfly.  Just make sure your upper hand is below your hooked knee, not above.
