So I’m probably going to buy a 45mm brass xpole soon.
I used to have a 50mm stainless and HATED IT! it was so big and slippery!
I’ve danced on 38mm brass before and they were perfect!
Anybody find the 45mm still too big for your hands to get grip?

nope I find the 45 painfully small for any thigh grips. give me a nice 50 anyday. I wouldn't even try anything on a 38.

I'm with you in struggling on 50mm poles. Personally, I don't find a huge difference in hand grip between 38mm and 45mm.  As for leg grip, 45mm and 50mm feel about the same to me, and 38mm was a bit more difficult to grip with my legs before I got used to it.

One of my studios has just bought some 45mm brass poles, but they're not installed yet, otherwise I could give you some more advice on them.

There is a place in Canada that sells 38' brass if you really liked that size

I just got a 45 brass X-pole, and I go to a studio that uses 38 brass too. Still getting used to it cos I’ve only used it a couple of times so far.

I find that more arm strength is required to lift on 45, but that’s good training in the long run!

Ya, action poles is the name of the company,

there website really dosn't look like much, but don't turned off by it.

their main industry is brass fittings and railings, but their poles are awesome
