I think most of the strength exercises in veena's lessons incorperate the pole.  I don't have a pole yet but I would like to try the strength training as well as stretching, rolling et.  Is it pointed out how to modify thestrength  exercises if you don't have a pole.  Or if it is not verbalized is it obvious?  Or am I going to feel like I need a pole to do the strength routine.   For the roller lessons, is it all massage or are there core and strength moves that incorperate the roller.

Most of the strength lessons you can easily imagine doing while using a door frame, wall, or back of a chair.  There's one where she advises starting on a chair instead of the pole.  The pole hold is only one I don't know how you could modify for off pole.  Maybe with a modified plank pose or crow pose (yoga).

Yep, BACE is right. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif Most of the Pole Strength you can do without a pole, just use a door frame or wall instead. There are also important Conditioning lessons in the Conditioning section, that do not require a pole either. All things a new dancer should work on. You could also do the floor work lessons as well.

The Foam Roller section is structured towards using the roller for flexibility. I will be adding 2 amazing Flexibility Routines, one for Front splits and one for Middle. These routines will also incorporate the Foam Roller.

LOVE the Foam Roller.  Loved it enough when I though it was jsut for massage (which is why I call mine "Sven") but to know it has stretching benefits — yippeeeee!

The foam roller lessons are terrific, I'd learned most of that years ago but still follow the lessons to have a structured plan.

Veena's strength lessons teach you to strengthen muscles you didn't know you had, let alone needed!  VERY important … you don't want to find out the hard way!  studios don't teach many of these.  The forearm flexor/extensors stretches seemed superfluous to me, but OUCH! I'm lived to regret it.  The pain comes in my wrist, because the tightness impinged some nerves.  I have to work them daily now.

I demonstrated many of the SV exerises to my PT, and she was very impressed … a more fun way of doing the rehab my PT was showing me!
