    Heya veenas 🙂

    Anyone got any tips on getting into flatline Scorpio? In trying it from a cradle then putting my right leg up onto the pole. Thing is, I get into the cradle fine but then my inflexible leg won’t get onto the pole. Like 2 inches away. Any tips would be appreciated x

    The only way I can get into this is from an extended butterfly.  I swoop the extended leg toward the pole and then catch that ankle and release the other leg.  Hope that make sense.

    Yes you can do it from a cradle, however I always seem to smash my hip that way. LOL. I like doing it from a butterfly. In a butterfly, lower your extended leg as you bring your head a lil more paralell with the floor as your lowered leg now hooks on the pole. Your bottom arm pretty much stays in the same spot on the pole. I doubt I explained that one right but good luck. 🙂

    It probably needs to be from a split grip one (I have never tried from a forearm grip one) and the extension just makes it easier for me to get the positioning.  I am quite sure that I would not be able to fold my body that tight when in a regular butterfly!

    I learnt to do it from Butterfly and Extended Butterfly. So either one is good. But I send Chemgoddess, I haven't tried it from a elbow or forearm grip butterfly either, so not sure it can be done.

    I think the Butterly to Flat line looks best, but I learnt it from a basic invert. So I thought I'd share anyway 🙂

    After I invert, I switch my legs (so you're in position for a scorpio), then I use my right hand (same hand as the leg that's hooked for scorpio) to push my torso to a horizontal position, and then it's just extending the other leg and arm.

     

    Never heard of it from a cradle but that sounds super cool!!

    At our studio we do it from a fan invert (like you would do cradle with split grip) but directly placing your left foot / heel on the pole.  Then you swing your right leg around the pole and hook your right foot.  Thereafter you can let your left foot go drop, move your right hand lower and extend your left hand!

    Lisa do u have a video of fan inverted? Can’t visualise it lol

    Tried it from a butterfly…got the position however was faaar from pretty! Something to work on though 🙂

    I do it alot like jesse. I invert straight into a scorpio then push with the inside arm then straighten.
