OMfingG SUPER STOKED
One of the big bike rallies is happening next weekend close to me. We do not own a motorcycle but enjoy this rally (it's a BLAST). I just looked at the schedule of events and noticed an act called Circus Una…..being curious about anything circusy that would be at a motorcycle rally I googled them.

Ummmm…yeah! They are going to have 3-4 performances each day. I plan to see as many of them as I can.

UNA IS AWESOME! SHE IS SO HILARIOUS! she's one of the lyra instructors i've trained with (uhhh except when she's on tour, like now) and she teaches at circus warehouse, the AMAZE facility in NYC where i do silks, flying trap, lyra, etc and i can't shut up about them because i love the staff and students so much. una is seriously awesome though, and completely badass.
some of the circus warehouse students are coming to take a pole class with me soon too! hahah. i can't wait to get them on a pole. some of them do chinese pole but they ain't ready.

Why am I not surprised that someone here knows them? Amy, that is freaking cool as anything! I sent an email today stating how stoked I was when I heard about them being at Thunder this year and wondering if they were bringing any of their aerial toys.
Charley….can you say ROAD TRIP??!! I still have one bed open in the RV for the weekend. You and the man are more than welcome to it so it would only be time and gas (and drinking money), plus Yankies has an outdoor pole! The rally is Sept 8-11. Taxi into town is $1 a person. Or if you are into tenting you can bring the whole Detroit crew down and set up on our site. It is supposed to be in the 70's and gorgeous all next weekend!
