I am very excited to announce that we have made our program available as an online course!

The Empowerment Through Exotic Dance Ltd online training program is not a "certification program" but it includes all of the same content which composes both our basic and intermediate level certification programs.

For those who desire the knowledge but cannot afford the time and travel expenses this is a more economical way of attaining the information included in our programs to assure that you are up to date on the latest pole dance teaching trends as well as fully versed in all aspects of pole instruction.

This program is more of a correspondence course as all materials will be sent to you in hard copy form.

Successful completion of each program will include an online (open book) written exam and will require the participant to record and mail videos of the practical portions of the final exams.

Participants who satisfactorily complete the course will be certificated pole dance instructors through Empowerment Through Exotic Dance, Ltd.

Grandfather Clause: Those who have successfully completed both the basic and the intermediate online teacher training within the past two years will be eligible to attend and test for the advanced certification program. Upon successful completion of the live advanced certification program, participants will receive Empowerment Through Exotic Dance, Ltd full certification at the advanced level.

So the "certification program" is completed after completion of the advanced portion???

Could you be considered beginner/intermediate instructor certified after comleting those portions?

Also, does your certification expire (I know some do after 2 years or so.)

Legend…you have less than two years previous pole dance experience?

SS…yes, if you want to claim "cerfification" you would have to complete the live advanced level training. Once you are finished with basic and/or advanced online you are "certificated" which means you have a certificate of completion and can say you have completed or been trained by the ETEDance instructor training program.

oh and yes we require renewal every two years.. a nominal fee with proof of having taught at least 30 hours with at least 90 students per year or a renewal video.

    Thanks ladies.

We are hoping to make our program more accessible both financially and geographically – however I strongly believe in live certification.

This program is good for those who desire the knowledge they will gain from our program but cannot afford the full price plus travel or who cannot manage to coordinate a group to bring us to them to train on site.

Then if they take the advanced program with us – which is only offered live – we will then validate them as certified at all levels once they pass advanced.

No doubt this program is not easy to pass and requires many long hours to learn to teach each level because of the detail involved in each level but we feel it is worth it.

We are approved for CEUs by AFAA but what I am more proud of is we are sanctioned by both the Pole Fitness Association and the Pole Dance Community since their review boards are made up of not only fitness but also pole experts!

We have also been notified that we are an approved certification course (right next to AFAA, ACE, ACSM, etc) by Insure Rite…the new national insurance program for pole dance studios and instructors!
