    so is it true as a beginner the only hold i should be practicing is the seat? i guess that would explain why i almost fell on my head trying the gemini, superman, recliner…etc. lol ive been poling 5 days.

    Actually a basic pole hold is also a great beginner move and strength builder as well 🙂 There are many other moves suitable for new dancers too. Moves all build on each other, so learning them in an organizes order can be really helpful!
