Need help with chair party format!!
For those who have hosted or attended a chair party how did it go….meaning was it a routine done to a particular song or do you just let any song play and you show different moves. I’m hosting one for the first time and not really sure how to format it. Suggestions and help appreciated!!

I LOVE having chair parties!!! I choreograph a routine, teach it to them and gave them a CD with the song on it as a gift. Pick a song that's not too long. I think mine was about 3 to 3 1/2 minutes. We had snacks and a couple of the gals brought in some wine 🙂 At the the end, I divided the girls into 2 groups and they each gave a little performance. So fun!!! Good luck!

Thank you for the response. I have picked a song and the time is short the party is only a hour or so. Thinking about using a man dress shirt for prop cause I don’t particular care for feather boas so idk. The cd is a great idea

Feather boas make a big mess!! A mans shirt and/or tie would be a great idea!

If you do a men's shirt I would suggest you tell participants that they have to bring their own in. Not only can it be a pain and costly to supply them for everyone (even if you get old shirts) it's almost impossible to get enough to fit everyone since some women may be plus sized.
Malibu feather boas aren't as fluffy but they don't shed.
