I am constantly combing the web looking for stretching & flexibility excercises & tips … well I ran across a tutorial by this super foxy athletic guy called "Jujimufu". He is what you called a "trickster"- he does all sorts of amazing stunts, flips, aerial twists and turns and he is also pretty flexible and has a list of great stretches and really explains the different types especially isometric in a cute and fun way!  ( great eye candy too btw!) Heres the link:

he also has videos showing his tricks but this one is cool because he talks about a cheap alternative for a foam roller!( whic i still had not gotten yet with my starving artist self!) Simply use a length of pvc pipe! Not sure the diameter he is using in the video but you can probably guestimate and he has some other good tips as well for recovery after training, productive ways of resting, smoothie recipe etc!

    Enjoy!

Cool thanks for the post. I like that his writing style has some humour mixed up in all of that info.

Jujimufu is hilarious and actually helpful with a lot of things too.

My fav is his aerial cartwheel tutorial on youtube mainly cause his arm looks either sprained or broken and him describing things like a "ridiculous starfish" and so forth.

This guy is "friggin" amazing! Oh my goodness…. I can't wait to show my hubby this. I can't believe all of the cuts in his abdomen and in his shoulders(muscle-wise)…looks like I will have new tricks to practice when baby girl comes out https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Also, was this guy serious about drinking the ashes in his smoothie? Other than that, it looked pretty good..

Even though I am not into martial arts tricking ( I will leave that to the boys!),I found a lot of the info beside the flexibility stuff helpful and transferable to pole dancing or aeriel arts or other athletic endeavors esp the stuff about over coming fear of  trying certain moves, eating healthy, discipline while training  etc… for being twenty five when he started posting this stuff he seems very wise like an old soul, but still playful like a 2o something yr old!

I also like some of his unorthodox, out of the box thinking about  things like eating- like why can't you eat greens or other non breakfast foods for breakfast ? Many vegan/vegetarians do. or unusual food combinations like why not mix pineapple with red onions ( sounds like salsa to me!)and maybe beans or something else different?  I think he was just kidding about the ashes! Hopefully! Also I did not have a stick like he mentioned ( to use as mini muscle roller) but I do have a rolling pin and that worked great for areas hard to reach with a bigger roller like my inside leg muscles …
