Sticky Situation
Theres a competition in the area that is happening in March. I really want to do the comp. If you know me, I dont hold myself back on what I can do. I give it a shot, even if I know theres no way in hell I can get in. Theres a instructor and a student division, which I think is awesome!
Theres one little snag to it. From my understanding you have to represent a studio, ok fine I think thats great too. That way we dont have 5 from one studio and 2 from another. Your studio decides how they make that decision. My studio will not be participating due to some past issues (which are totally trivial to begin with), so im stuck. I dont want to represent another studio, thats not fair to their clients and if ive only been in one class I just dont think it should count. It just sucks that my own studio doesnt particpate in other local pole events (they didnt even support my event or par take in it). Unless someone says 'Hey Lulu, I want you to represent our studio', then I dont want to steal someone elses thunder.
I do plan on volunteering or attending. I feel like its important to support local pole events as much as I can.
Grrr, it sucks!

Ive emailed them so im waiting on the yay or nay. Im totally cool with it no matter what. If they dont let me, I still plan on being a volunteer.

I got an answer back – Since SV is not a studio in the area, I cannot represent them at the competiton. But she gave me a few other studios who are up and coming to see if they would like me to represent them.
No matter what the answer, I was ok with it. I just need to decide if I really want to do it that way. Bummer, but its cool
