38mm brass multi piece pole?
Posted by Cupcake946 on December 3, 2011 at 9:20 pmIs there such a thing out there? I have used 38mm pole before and it was great but it was powder coated. I prefer brass but I need it to be removable and height adjustable because I don't have a permanent place for it. I recently ordered a 45mm brass multi piece pole from Platinum Stages and I hope I made a good decision. Has anyone here found it hard to transition from a 38mm to a 45mm? Thanks for any help!

The don't exist yet here yet. I don't even think they exist anywhere else yet. There are a few companies that make 1 piece brass 38mm poles, but they don't spin. X pole may be carrying a 40mm in the future though.

I should note the the x poles won't be brass though…

Wait, I lied, the Australian site has them in brass and chrome, but I hear the x pole brass poles are slipperier that other brass poles since they are a brushed brass instead of a polished brass…something to keep in mind.

Well, it looks like I made a good choice with the options I have. Thank you so much for your help https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

The x pole sport 40mm should be available this month but not in brass, they are bringing out a 45mm in brass too in December. I have used a 38mm R pole and i agree am not keen on the powder coating. R pole do have a stainless steel pole but I think its only available with the flimsy base, the sturdier based poles are about £800!! I don't find it a problem switching between 38 and 45mm, I think if you work on a bigger pole to begin with you are more flexible with diameter if that makes sense.

The brass 45mm is already out in the U.S. I don't know if they will have both the chrome and the brass in 40mm in the U.S. or 1, the other, or neither. It's still up in the air.

also note that the brass xpole uses is not the same type of brass used by well……. every other brass pole company, it's sllllliiiippppery, I bought the x pole brass and hate it, it's not grippy like normal brass at all. I actually just sold it and am buying a true brass pole. if you want a 38' try action poles, they dont spin, but their pretty much the only company in NA that makes 38'. note on the website it says 1.5, but it is actualy a 38'
cheers

We have the 38 mm coming out in stainless steel, but if there's enough demand for it in brass as a multi-piece, we'll have it coming out sooner rather than later.
But we do plan to offer the 38mm size as option for almost all of our pole products.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks!

I think you'll find a big demand for it in brass. All the companies that sell the 38mm brass poles, don't have them in spinny.

I would very much be interested in the 38 multi peice brass, is there any chance this will be out within the next month or so?
-
! would love it to be avaliable in brass! But a spinning 38mm stainless steal is still better than nothing. So glad you guys are coming out with it!

Can't wait to hear more Erica! Since you will have it in most of your pole options hopefully it will work with the PS ceiling mount. : )

The 38 mm brass should be available by late January/early February.
We'll be taking pre-orders for it soon (prob post holidays).
🙂
We did a photoshoot with the 38 mm stainless and as soon as I have those pictures, I'll post them here and you all will be the 1st to see them.
Thanks,

is that going to be a multi piece brass or the single that only fits in one ceiling size?
