45 vs 50mm WITH PIX
Since we are always talking about the difference between 45mm and 50mm poles, I thought it might help to have some visuals, so I made an album with some pictures of my hand on my 45mm and 50mm poles. lol compared to you I have HUGE hands. 7 inches across the way you measured and my fingers touch around a 50 like yours do on a 45.

Thank you woo much for this! I’ve always been curious and it looks like a 45mm would be soooo much better for me! The 50mm I have in my home is so harsh on my wrists sometimes 🙁 I hope I can get a 45 soon, can’t wait.

nymph – Just goes to show that we all have different pole size needs. The 50 is so hard for me to grip. I'm a shortie (5'2".)
Riddle – that gap does put strain on my wrists too. The 45 seems to alleviate that a bit. I love the smaller diameter for my hand size. If I had bigger hands I probably wouldn't care so much.

I'm only 5'5 but I always joke that most of my height is my legs and I have long fingers and toes.
