    Hiya Veeners,

just a quick question that I'm sure is lost in the threads:

Do lil' mynx poles need to be fixed (screwed, bolted) to the ceilling?

Guess who's upgrading poles?  That's right ladies it's time for some spin spin.  I'm thinking 45mm xpert at the moment, but thought I'd ask the smartest polers I know out there for their opinions.

Also in the market for a crash mat.  Advice on that would be grand!?

Yes they do.  They have a small screw that goes into a joist with a white attachment that the pole sits on.

As for mats, a few days ago there was a thread regarding them and one avalable on amazon for about $189.

Thanks!  That's what I thought.  I guess I'll stick with xpole as I'm not in my own home and screws in ceiling aren't ideal!

I need to find mats preferably in the UK as they are expensive to ship (big and heavy).  I'll keep looking around!

Regarding the mat; you can also try "puzzle mats". Four fit nicely around a pole and you can double, tripple or even decuple them. …

Just as an FYI, platinum stages now has a UK site.
