I love the look of this and am thinking about getting the Iron X top to match..I have plans for glamming it up. But n the meantime I tried on the panty and hatchi matchi!!!! Its so low :0 I don't even think a wax job will help this situation out. I'd be scared to wear this in public for a showcase or something. I want to keep it sexy, I don't want to return it…anyone have any crafty ideas for raising the coverage in the front a touch without having to wear another pair of briefs underneath? I am reasonably handy with a sewing needle and thread….

Maybe you could attach a belt type thing or skirt to the top of it to raise the front height?

Take them with you to the fabric store and get a black stretch fabric or a black elastic trim that matches the existing waistband and sew that strip to the inside of the waist band, get a little higher rise out of it, fold it over the front and sew that edge down. Basically widening the black band by sewing over it. Just raise it high enough that shaving or waxing a bit lower will leave you covered.

If you are planning on glamming it up, you could get a piece of stretch sequin trim which you can get in all sorts of widths from a single row of sequins up to I think 11 inches! 2-3 inch width should do the job and just stitch it over the existing waistband. I did this for a friend last year who had the same problem and it worked out fine.

thanks for the tips y'all! Please…keep 'em coming ( pix too)! I think I want to keep the top & bottoms separate so it may be about finding a cute piece of stretch lycra or elastic that I can use…..

If you want to be able to change out the look, you could make a separate piece kind of like a narrow tube top out of the swimsuit material that will fold over like yoga pants. You could make different ones and change them out. If you’re worried about it separating from the shorts it looks like you could use snaps or Velcro tabs that fold around the underside of the side straps and connect underneath.

jade, there is a company that already makes these.  I am going to have to look at my Oxygen magazine when I get home, they are always advertised in there.

It does not seem like their website is active any more though.   🙁

The easiest is to wear another plain pairof shorts in a contrasting color/fabric  (e.g. black or sparkly silver) underneath. I've seen girls layer in all colors of the rainbow and it looks great without having to do any sewing.  https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Plan B would be attaching a wider waist band as already mentioned.
