    Hi everybody,

I have bin going to pole class once a weekf or about 2 month now and I love it!

I am at level two and just started doing basic inverts 🙂

I really want to buy a pole and I know I want the x-pert titanium gold, but I can not make up my mind about 50 mm or 45 mm!!!  I know this question has bin aswered a lot but I just can't decide. I can only spend this kind of money once so what ever I but will be my 'forever' pole and I am a bit nervous. In class we use a 50 mm but I am leaning towards 45 even though I have never used it……… I can't decide , its driving me crazy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rambo.gif lol . I would love to hear what you all think……… THANK YOU 🙂

do u hav small hands?? if so go with the 45, if u dont hav small hands and are comfortable with the 50 then that wud b a good choice unless u really want to try a 45, alot of people like 45 s i believe

45mm is a good home pole. That way you can learn on both diameters! 🙂 Variety is good.

    Thanks guys 🙂

I think I have normal hands , Ia m 5.6 foot tall. Is it true that 45 mm are a little better for your wrists? I am a hair stylist and Iam trying to find what ever is the most gentle on my joints so Iam not hurting to much in the salon lol

I started with a 50mm, and bought a 45mm after a year, I found it to be a lot easier on my wrists and fingers.  I am about 5ft 5 with smallish hands, so it was a good choice, but I wish I'd been able to try both sizes before buying the 50mm  I think it just depends on your personal preference but I really love my 45mm and find it great for leg/thigh holds too.

I personally feel like the 45 puts less pressure on my wrists than teh 50mm.

looks like I will get the 45 mm 🙂  I can't grab around the 50 mm so I think it will be fine, I might just have to work a bit harder in class 🙂

I am a hairstylist of 12 years now and have terrible arthritis in my fingers. I am having to get a 50mm. My 45 I have been working on for 3 years is hurting me worse.just my 2cents. Lol!

Oh no, that’s not good, I have bin doing hair for 10 years now and thought the 45 would be easier. I probably won’t ever decide

Everyone is different. It is so hard to tell. For me, my fingers have it so bad I can not grip the 45. It is to painful to have to close my hands all the way sometimes.

I have a 45 X and a 50 Lil Mynx.  My fav would be a combination of the two…..45 Lil Mynx.

maybe I will just wait till x-pole makes a 47.5 mm pole https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif . At class they said today I should get 50 mm because if you can do it on 50 mm you can do it on any pole…………. I will order one next week so I sill have a few days to think 🙂

I find knee holds and shoulder mounts more painful on a 45mm too. And they are right about if you can do it on a 50mm you can on any pole.

I vote for the 45mm. You'll still have the studio 50s to work with anyway. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

What is used in competitions, I am not at competing level at all but might want to get in to it when I get better.
