Remi Martin is a professional Chinese Pole artist, already well known in Circus circles, who more recently has found a strong fan base in the pole dancing community. He is now followed and admired by men and women around the world, for his work and incredible skills on the pole.
Remi is half French (on his mother’s side) and half German. He started Chinese Pole at the age of 20. When is it not on the pole, Remi likes to party, enjoys electo music, and likes to mix music on his computer as a hobby.
Recently, Remi Martin has been in Australia as part of X-Pole’s ‘Pole Reflections’ show. While he was here, I was lucky enough to arrange an exclusive Heart of Pole interview! During our chat, Remi discusses how he got started with his acrobatics, why he loves performing what he thinks of pole dancing, compared to Chinese Pole. He also gives us some great performance and training tips, shares his thoughts on nerves and stage fright, and discusses what he’s planning to do next with his career.
