Is it safe? I just took my 45mm xpole down to level and clean all the threads out and lune it up. We called xpole to make sure we did it all properly. Now that it is back up the pole is very slightly bent. It concerns me but the pole is 4 years old. I can only imagine this happens.

I've heard most poles bow over time. If it's only slight and isn't quickly bowing more and more, then I think you are okay. My x pole started bowing pretty shortly after I got it and it started hindering the pole's spin mode. I got upset about that, but if it is several years in the making and not affecting the functionality of the pole, I wouldn't worry about it. My PS pole is slightly bowed, but it isn't getting worse and it isn't afecting the poles functionality, so I am not concerned about it.

Hi @luvlee, overtightening the pole can cause bowing so I would just make sure when you reset your pole, you did not accidently overtighten.  I would test this out first by slightly loosening your pole from the ceiling.  Please call us at 888-976-5387 if the issue persists.  Thank you!
